1st Aug: Pushkar Virtual Storytelling Tour
Experience the sunny lanes of this ancient pilgrimage bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. Pushkar holds one of the highest holy positions in India and it is also mentioned as adi-tirth (ancient pilgrimage) in Puranas.
We will narrate the unheard story of Lord Brahma. the God of creation that led to the creation of this place and why he is still not worshipped anywhere in the world as we visit his 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims’ silver coins.
Also learn about the constantly dynamic cultural landscapes of Pushkar, from Israeli bean wraps, French press coffees, Italian pizzas to famous kesar lassi, and the world-famous camel fair.
The storytelling session will include images, videos & ancient illustrations. Participants are required to have access to Zoom and fair quality internet for this experience.
